Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Public Administration

Siyuan is a Ph.D. student in Public Administration & Policy at the University of Georgia. Before coming to UGA, he earned both his B.A. and M.A. degrees from Peking University of China. Siyuan’s research interests lie in citizen–state interactions, with a particular focus on how public services and policies shape citizens’ attitudes and preferences. He is also interested in comparative public administration, especially the applicability and salience of core concepts in PA across different political contexts. Siyuan currently serves as a graduate teaching assistant for SPIA and is passionate about teaching. Outside of academia, Siyuan enjoys swimming and spending time with his family and friends.
