Master of Public Administration (MPA)
Savannah is an advocate driven to see communities thrive at both the local and global levels. She currently uses her passion for systems-level collaboration in her fellowship with Envision Athens, where she works with all levels of local government, private industry, and the nonprofit sector to see her community live up to its potential. Savannah graduated from the University of Georgia in 2020 with High Honors and degrees in International Affairs and Spanish. In her undergraduate career, she focused many of her efforts toward global health, both by conducting global health research and presenting it at national conferences, and by co-founding UGA’s Global Health Union–the first of its kind to gather 14 different health organizations and create an inclusive, collaborative space for students of shared interests to combine their efforts across campus. She has a passion for travel and for cultural understanding, demonstrated by her study abroad experiences in South America, her leadership of an educational trip to the Middle East, her work as an International Student Orientation Leader for UGA, and her partnership with International Justice Mission. As a Double Dawg, Savannah enjoyed taking graduate coursework during her undergraduate years, and she is thrilled to pursue a nonprofit administration specialization while in the MPA program. She looks forward to a career in international nonprofit work.
