Master of Public Administration (MPA)
Born and raised in Savannah, Georgia, Rebekah attended the University of Georgia where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. During her undergraduate career, Rebekah became interested in government relations, food deserts, and human rights. She was Secretary of the pre-law fraternity Phi Alpha Delta, a contributing writer for the student newspaper The Red and Black, and studied abroad in Ireland where she studied human rights in a global context and The Troubles, a period of national instability in Ireland. All of these experiences culminated during the summer before her last semester when she began interning at the Athens Downtown Economic Development Authority. It is at the ADDA where she found her passion in public administration.
