Patrick Person

Master of Public Administration (MPA)

Patrick Person is a native of Atlanta, Georgia. He has B.S Biology from the University of West Georgia. Currently, he is the Water Quality Manager at the Fulton County Environmental Laboratory where he manages its Drinking Water, Wastewater, and Stream Monitoring programs. Previously, Patrick worked as a laboratory supervisor with the Georgia Environmental Protection Division in the Microbiology Department. He possesses Water and Wastewater Laboratory Analyst licenses, and Wastewater Operator 1 license issued by the state of Georgia. Patrick is a Certified Public Manager (CPM) certified by the Carl Vinson Institute of Government-University of Georgia. As a laboratory manager, Patrick has extensive work experience in an environmental laboratory setting, with expertise in coordinating laboratory and field programs, and wastewater operations. In addition, Patrick manages laboratory quality systems to ISO/IEC 17025 standard and manages the laboratory information management systems (LIMS). Patrick is a Six Sigma Green Belt and plays key roles in strategic planning and organizational change management.
