Nida is a first generation university student who graduated from the University of Georgia with a bachelor’s degree in International Affairs. During her undergraduate years in college, she joined the Thai Student Association and Delta Phi Lambda, an Asian-interest sorority. These organizations have taught her to become a leader and allowed her to get her message of increasing diversity awareness across to the student body. She lead successful events for both of her organizations. Despite being on executive positions for 2 years, Nida was able to maintain her 3.8 GPA by the end of her senior year. She also was awarded the Access Award, an award for low-income families.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree of Arts from the University of Georgia Graduated in 2017 with a major in International Affairs and a minor in Korean

I received my bachelor’s degree in International Affairs. Taking classes for my major allowed me to be more understanding of the way other countries work and behave. It helped shaped me as a person by teaching me how to think in different perspectives and credible opinions. It also helped me with understanding people better. My classes guided me towards the direction that I want to take towards my future goals. The enthusiasm of the SPIA department have lead me to enjoy the courses that I had to take. The people motivated me to find the subject that I am interested in and make a career out of it.
