Master of Public Administration (MPA)
Nettia Conyers is a 21 years old first year MPA student from Newark, New Jersey. She received her undergraduate degree, Magna Cum Laude from The Clark Atlanta University, earning a B.A. in Criminal Justice with a minor in Computer Science. She currently owns her own cake baking business called “Tia’s Treats” which can be found on Instagram and Facebook under “nettiastreats”. While at Clark Atlanta University she was actively involved on campus by serving as Treasurer and then President of the National Associate for Blacks in Criminal Justice, a member of CAU Yearbook Committee, a member of CAU Student Election Committee, Undergraduate Representative for Commuter, a Change Agent with the Joseph and Evelyn Lowery Institute, and a member of the National Council of Negro Women. She was also fortunate enough to become a member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Incorporated. Nettia as inducted into Pi Gamma Mu International Honor Society, Phi Kappa Phi National Honor Society, and Phi Eta Sigma National Honor Society during her time at Clark Atlanta University. Nettia takes pride in the study abroad experience she was afforded while at CAU. She was able to study is Paris, Rome, and Liberia West Africa. Nettia decided to pursue her Master’s in Public Administration because she wants to open a nonprofit catered to children in her hometown. Nettia has a passion for service and her favorite quote is “Feed your faith and your fears will starve”.
