Master of Public Administration (MPA)
Morgan Kent is currently pursuing her Master’s in Public Administration while serving as a graduate assistant for the Rankin M. Smith Sr. Academic Center. She was raised in Phoenix, Arizona, and completed her Bachelor of Arts (AB) in Political Science with a minor in Public Policy and Management at the University of Georgia in December of 2018. During her undergraduate degree, Morgan had the opportunity to study abroad in China for a month to learn about the country’s government, economy, and culture. She participated in cultural activities with the students of Beijing International Studies University, met a variety of people from different backgrounds as she climbed the famous, Great Wall of China, and she was fortunate enough to meet Terry Branstad, the United States Ambassador to China. Most recently, Morgan has had the opportunity to work in the Compliance, Hospitality, and Event Management departments within the University of Georgia’s Athletic Association. She also has spent her time volunteering for various sporting events, such as the SEC Swimming and Diving Championships, NCAA Golf Regional, and the East Lake Golf Championship.
