Madeline Jackson is a third-year student born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia. Madeline is majoring in Political Science with a minor in Criminal Justice. Madeline is a first generation college student who has been passionate about government and law since her freshman year of high school. In the Spring 2020 semester, Madeline was offered a position to work with a phone banking opportunity to work with a congresswoman’s campaign. Throughout her volunteer work on and off campus with her sorority, Chi Omega, Madeline has gained more knowledge and passion for the Make a Wish Georgia Foundation, which works to help grant wishes for children with critical illnesses, nationally and locally. This Summer, Madeline plans to intern for the City of Atlanta, and further her career by studying in Washington in Spring of 2021. In the future, she plans to use her passion for civil rights and the international world to pursue a career in law.
