Master of Public Administration (MPA)

Leyeama is a Silver Spring, Maryland native who has a passion for immigration pattern research and youth empowerment. She obtained her B.A. in International Affairs and Communication Studies from The University of Georgia in 2020. Leyeama went on to complete a Fulbright grant in the Canary Islands, Spain where she served as an English Teaching Assistant to fifth and sixth grade and three and four year olds. As a child of two Liberian immigrants, she hopes to enhance the skills necessary to continue to serve in the international community through the nonprofit sector. In Leyeama’s spare time, she likes to cook, travel, play piano, and culture exchange with people from different backgrounds.
