Master of Public Administration (MPA)

Kristin currently works for the University of Georgia as an administrative specialist for the Department of Marine Sciences and UGA Marine Institute. She is interested in non-profit administration and blending her love of the environment, animals, and public service into a fulfilling career. She has experience working for federal and state government and non-profits such as the U.S. Geological Survey, U.S. Forest Service, North Carolina Wildlife Resources Commission, Piedmont Wildlife Center, and Zoo Atlanta. Kristin has also been volunteering for various non-profits for over 10 years. She spends hours each week socializing and advertising shelter animals in need of adoption as well as fostering kittens in her home. She has also previously cared for and handled captive wildlife, including snakes, opossums, and birds of prey, and educated the public through environmental education and outreach for several years.
