Julia Grace Aman
Master of Public Administration (MPA)
I am a first-year student pursuing a Master’s in Public Administration and I am currently working as a Graduate Assistant at the Carl Vinson Institute of Government. I hold a BBA in Finance from the University of Georgia which I completed in 2016.
While pursuing my undergraduate degree I was heavily involved in the business fraternity Delta Sigma Pi. I held several leadership positions including Vice President of Community Service and Executive Vice President. I was also awarded the Collegian of the Year award for the UGA chapter in 2016. Through Delta Sigma Pi I volunteered and raised money for many local and national charities including Project Safe, Ronald McDonald House, and Relay for Life.
In the 2 years following graduation I worked at The Home Depot corporate office as a Financial Analyst supporting the Credit Services Department. My main responsibilities were forecasting and planning the cost of consumer credit for the company, as well as providing financial reporting and ad-hoc analysis. I am highly skilled in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Access and am proficient in SQL and Tableau analytical software.
