José is a student in MIP and is interested in international security, Russia, and the Balkans. He grew up in Philadelphia and studied international politics and Russian at Penn State in University Park.

Of Note

José received the Paternost-Gebhard Award from the Department of Slavic and Germanic Studies at Penn State. He is fluent in Albanian and French and proficient in Russian.
