John-Malik Radford is a third-year Political Science major from Lithonia, Georgia. John-Malik is involved in multiple extra-curricular activities on campus, including serving as the Diversity Committee Co-Chair for the Phi Kappa Literary Society, Program Director for the Black Felicity Student Association, General Body member of the Black Male Leadership Society, and member of the Phi Alpha Delta Pre-Law fraternity. After completing his undergraduate studies at the University of Georgia, John-Malik plans on attending law school. John-Malik aspires to specialize in Criminal Defense and Civil Rights law and to do pro bono legal work for minorities, the poor, and other individuals who are deprived of adequate legal representation. In addition to a legal career, he hopes to pursue a career in politics and public policy by advocating for criminal justice/police reform, lifting communities of color out of poverty, and dismantling institutional/systemic racism. John-Malik is an avid writer, debater, traveler, and political buff. John-Malik also has an Associate’s Degree in Business Management from Herzing University-Atlanta Campus earned through a dual enrollment program at Arabia Mountain High School.
