Applied Politics
Jessica Douglas is a second-year student from Kennesaw, Georgia majoring in Political Science with a minor in African American Studies. She is the proud student intern for LeaderShape at UGA, a Senator At-Large for the Student Government Association, and works on the executive board of The Chapel Bell: A Positive Press Publication. Jessica is driven into politics by a desire to uplift the voices of marginalized communities and advocate for social issues. She is unsure of what specific political work she wants to pursue, but hopes to serve as a liaison between special interests and the government in some fashion.
