Master of Public Administration (MPA)
Jay is a native of Germantown, Tennessee. He began his collegiate career at the University of South Carolina (’14) where he completed a Bachelors of Art in Classical Studies with a concentration in Latin. After working for two years after college, he continued his education at East Carolina University (’18) where he completed a thesis titled “The Health and Medical Care of Enslaved African Americans at Somerset Place, 1839-1863” as part of his Masters of Art in History. In 2017, Jay took a position as an Admissions Recruiter in the Office of Undergraduate Admissions at the University of Georgia. Currently, he primarily works with students from rural communities; and serves on the Middle School Outreach, and Access and Inclusion Teams. He is pursuing the MPA with a concentration in Higher Education Administration while working full-time.
