Master of Public Administration (MPA)

Eighteen years ago, I moved to the United States from Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan. I only spoke Russian and didn’t know many people in U. S. I quickly realized that I needed to develop a career that would provide experience and learning to fuel my future. The first step was to obtain education. I was accepted in the University of Georgia in 2007 to one of the best Accounting school in the Nation, J.M. Tull School of Accounting from which I graduated in 2011. Since then I worked at H&R Block preparing small business and individuals tax returns. Prior my position at UGA Foundation, I worked at Synovus bank as a manager in the Money Center. Since 2016 I worked for the University of Georgia in a different positions. My current position, encouraged me to grow academically, socially and mentally. Based on my research, webinars and discussions with alumni, I learned that the MPA program offers a range of educational classes that will help me develop great leadership skills, give me the necessary tools and knowledge in supporting public services and provide valuable networking opportunities.
