Haleigh White, class of 2019, is a double major in Political Science and International Affairs from Madison, Georgia. In politics, she has interned with War Room Strategies on a multitude of campaigns and developed skills in donor and opposition research, budget planning, and graphic design. Haleigh developed a passion for graphic design while working to create logos, social media and ad graphics, and mail pieces for several different campaigns. She has become fluent in Adobe Cloud programs. Also in politics, Haleigh was the social media manager for Charlie Fiveash’s candidacy for the Georgia State Senate District 6 special election. While in college, Haleigh has joined the fraternity of Delta Delta Delta and helped fundraise for their partnership with St. Jude’s Children Hospital. As she finishes her time at UGA, she hopes to participate in the Georgia Legislative Internship Program and gain more political experience through various future internships. After graduation, Haleigh wants to work in the public or political communications field, either at a campaign or public affairs communication firm while using her skills in graphic design and campaign strategy. She hopes to stay in Georgia and help better her home state as a whole.
