Master of Public Administration (MPA)
George begins his time as a full time MPA student spring of 2021 after spending his past two semesters as a Double Dawg student. During his undergraduate career, he received dean’s list all semesters and is on track to graduate with honors and magna cum laude with the conclusion of the UGA spring 2021 semester. Over the course of receiving his undergraduate degree in International Affairs, George sought out different job, volunteer, and internship positions. He resided in Tel Aviv, Israel for a summer working for an international nonprofit. Another summer, he worked with Dr. Zeemering and the Volcker Alliance synthesizing research and creating various deliverables. Additionally, he has worked with public relations firm Ketchum as a Health Innovation and Wellness intern after completing Ketchum’s Summer Fellows training program. In the community, George served on the UGA Hillel student board, as a senator in Student Government, and as a passionate basketball coach for third and fourth graders. George hopes to refine his public service repertoire by taking advantage of the myriad of classes and work experiences that the MPA program provides.
