Applied Politics

Evan Frey is a member of the University of Georgia class of 2024. Evan is currently pursuing a double major in Political Science and Economics. In addition, Evan is planning to pursue a masters in Economics through the Double Dawgs program. He first became interested in politics through the AP Government course he took during his freshman year of high school. During this course, he was encouraged to become involved in Youth Assembly, Georgia’s statewide mock legislature conference. He was involved in this conference all four years of high school and was elected as the Youth Lieutenant Governor his senior year. This conference further sparked his interest in Georgia politics and encouraged him to intern on two Athens-area state house campaigns. At the University of Georgia, Evan is currently involved with the Student Government Association, Shop with a Bulldawg, and the Honors Program Student Council. After graduation, he wishes to either attend law school or pursue a career in the field of economic policy.
