A Georgia native, Daniel has devoted much of his professional and academic career to working at the intersection of political science and public policy. After earning undergraduate and graduate degrees at the University of Georgia, Daniel worked in a wide range of leadership roles in the office of Georgia’s Lieutenant Governor from 2015 through 2018, including as a policy advisor and director of communications. Today, Daniel works as a Senior Policy Analyst at the Georgia Budget and Policy Institute, where he leads GBPI’s tax and budget policy portfolio and government affairs.
