Master of Public Administration (MPA)

Corissa is from Little Rock, Arkansas. She got her Bachelor of Arts in Politics and History from Hendrix College in Conway, Arkansas in May of 2024. She was an intern in the Arkansas Department of Education in the summer of 2022, where she assisted the director of curriculum services in preparing content for teachers for the 2022-23 school year. In that position, she also edited grant proposals for the agency. Corissa also served as an intern for the nonprofit Arkansas Advocates for Children and Families, where she assisted the director of education policy by keeping tabs on relevant state legislation during the session and writing blog posts about those bills. After moving to Athens, Corissa began a graduate assistantship in the School of Public and International Affairs. She assists Dr. Combs in research about education policy at the local level.
