Connor Whitney is a second-year student from Alpharetta, Georgia. Connor currently serves as Vice President of his fraternity, Beta Upsilon Chi. Additionally, he attends Athens Church and is involved on campus as a Freshley small group leader. Some of his other interests include politics, tennis, and Atlanta Braves baseball. While initially entering college as a pre-dental major, Connor soon realized where his true passion lied – public service. Because of this, he now majors in Political Science and minors in International Affairs. His hope is to gain meaningful experience by interning in D.C. next summer or taking part in the Washington Semester Program next year. Connor plans on graduating in 2023, and hopes to further his education with a Master’s Degree in Public Administration through UGA’s Double Dawgs program. Upon graduating school, he wants to utilize his love for politics and public service to impact people in a positive light. His ultimate goal is to one day run for public office, serve his community diligently, and make meaningful differences in peoples’ lives.
