Chelsea Parker is a sophomore at The University of Georgia, majoring in Political Science with a minor in Women’s Studies. She volunteers with Shop With a Bulldog, serving on a leadership committee. She also is an active member of the Mu Beta chapter of Chi Omega. Chelsea interned with The Philanthropy Workshop during the summer of 2017 and looks forward to her summer 2018 internship with Congresswoman Grace Meng of New York. After graduation, Chelsea intends to pursue her law degree and subsequently a career in public policy, advocating for people and organizations, representing their best interests. Chelsea grew up in Northport, New York, where she was an avid sailor. Throughout high school, she traveled to Nicaragua on four separate volunteer trips that sparked her passion for the government’s role in world affairs.
