Master of Public Administration (MPA)
Ben Fowler is a Masters of Public Administration and Policy candidate, focusing his efforts to benefit the public through innovative healthcare initiatives. Developing a passion for healthcare from an early age, Ben has interned at various hospitals and healthcare organizations throughout his undergraduate and graduate career in hopes of being better acclimated to the changing healthcare market. With an undergraduate degree in Exercise Science, along with a Masters Degree in Sport Management and Policy, Ben plans to combine these degrees with a Public Administration and Policy degree to help establish activity-related healthcare activities in the district he will one day serve. Currently, Ben has a Graduate Assistantship with University of Georgia Housing where he serves as a Graduate Resident assisting in the supervision of one of the freshmen highrises. In this position, he oversees roughly 990 first year residents. Through partnerships with the University Health Center and the Ramsey Student Center, Ben has been instrumental in developing programming opportunities for first year residents to engage in to promote physical activity and physical wellbeing.
