Applied Politics

Becca Langfelder is a second year from Sandy Springs, GA. Becca is studying International Affairs with a minor in Political Science. She first became interested in politics when she visited Tanzania, teaching English in an elementary school. This experience opened her eyes to the need for education reform around the world, including in the United States. Becca is invested in human rights advocacy and social justice. Outside of school, Becca coordinated a philanthropy event that raised over $90,000 for Prevent Child Abuse America, she is a Clarke County Mentor, and serves as President of her sorority. After graduating, Becca intends to get a Masters in International Policy. Becca hopes to pursue a career in foreign service, so she can effectively make a change on a global scale.
