Master of International Policy (MIP)
Bailey is a first-year graduate student specializing in human security within democratization movements of the former Soviet bloc.
Bailey knew from a young age that she wanted to experience life on the international level. World events surrounding her adolescent years nurtured a fascination for political science that she continued to pursue at the University of Georgia. During her first semester of undergrad, Bailey encountered the Russian language and fell in love. Such an event opened new doors and perspectives to the political developments occurring in the former Soviet bloc and has allowed her to grasp a more raw understanding of the unique circumstances that created them.
Bailey graduated from the University of Georgia with Bachelors of Arts in Political Science, International Affairs, and Russian in December of 2020. She hopes to work in the Foreign Service.
