Applied Politics

Austin Emery is a fourth year student from Cumming, Georgia pursuing a double major in International Affairs and Political Science. Austin is a Vinson Fellow at the Carl Vinson Institute of Government’s International Center, and is a security leadership student at the UGA Center for International Trade and Security. Austin has interned at The National Consortium for the Study of Terrorism and Responses to Terrorism (START), and has also served as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the School of Public and International Affairs. He currently interns in the district office of Congressman Jody Hice. In the future, he is looking forward to attending law school and pursuing his passion for public service.
