Master of Public Administration (MPA)
Anthony Potts is a senior Center for Undergraduate Research Opportunities Honor Scholar earning a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Master of Public Administration through the Double Dawgs pathway. While at the University of Georgia, Anthony’s research papers have been published in journals such as the Georgia Law Review and American Conference on Information Systems. Last year, he served as the Director of the Roosevelt Institute at UGA, a nonpartisan, student-run think tank funded by the UGA Honors Program. In that role, he managed the implementation of the UGA Policy Journal, sat on the UGA Votes Steering Committee, and guided community policy partnerships with organizations such as the Archway Partnership and Athens Area Homeless Shelter. He has also been deeply involved with UGA’s units of Public Service and Outreach as a Vinson Fellow, International Center Fellow, and a Public Service and Outreach Student Scholar. Receiving funding and support through the Honors International Scholar Program at UGA, he interned with Lawyers for Human Rights in Johannesburg, South Africa for three months last summer.
