Master of Public Administration (MPA)

André Jefferies graduated from the Univeristy of North Carolina at Charlotte with a degree in Political Science focusing on mass media and pre-law. During undergrad, he participated in Student Government serving as an at-Large senator, where several bills introduced and passed were actually implemented in the campus making it much safer for future students. He was also a member of model United Nations and the North Carolina Student Legislature, serving as the Lieutenant Governor. Additionally, Andre has the opportunity to intern for the late United States Senator Kay Hagan in Washington D.C. where his passion for public service was fueled. His research interests are Public Budgeting and Finance Administration and Local Government Administration.
