Master of Public Administration (MPA)

Amy is an Atlanta native and received her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Georgia. Amy started her career in Washington, D.C., pursuing her interest in politics. She has worked at the Democratic National Committee, and in Los Angeles, at a political action committee.

Amy was selected for the Coro Fellowship in Public Affairs, in New York City. After her program year, Amy became the Director of the Fellows Program.

As a training and leadership development professional, Amy worked at the Direct Marketing Association managing events and seminars. And in 2002, she returned to Atlanta as the Leadership Development Manager for Hands On Atlanta’s AmeriCorps program. After time away from the workforce to raise her children, Amy has worked in K-12 education in Hall County.

She enjoys quilting, reading and spending time with her husband and three children.
