Master of Public Administration (MPA)

Ammar is a first year Master of Public Administration, currently pursuing a generalist track with interest in public policy. Born and raised in Georgia, Ammar received his B.A. in Political Science with a concentration in American Government from Georgia Gwinnett College in December 2020. Ammar has a demonstrated interested in government and politics, with experience in Georgia General Assembly and internship work with gubernatorial political campaign. His academic interests include education and federal social policy, environmental policy, and criminal justice policy. Ammar’s professional goals encompass a range of work with the federal government, non-profit agencies, and minority advocacy groups.

Career Goals

My goals coming out of the MPA program would be to be a public policy or Legislative Director advising for governmental agencies or elected officials. Eventually, I would like to create my own non-profit advocacy group and run for elected office in the future.
