Master of Public Administration (MPA)

Alexandra was raised in Statesboro, GA before attending the University of Georgia to study Economics. While she has always had an interest in government, a minor in Public Policy and Management helped her envision a place for herself in the public sector. During her time at UGA, Alexandra discovered her love of public policy and, more specifically, policy evaluation. She was able to do this through courses like Public Sector Economics, Economics Analysis of Law, and Policy Process. One of her proudest (and most challenging) memories from her time in undergrad was working on her senior thesis on COVID-19’s effect on female employment. During her continued time at UGA, she hopes to research this further. Through Alexandra’s work with the Georgia 4-H Foundation, she was able to learn more about non-profit management.
