Applied Politics

Alex Huskey is a first-year student from Summerville, Georgia, studying Political Science and Economics. Alex is interested in campaign management and elections, passions he has had since high school when he first became active in politics and worked on local campaigns. He has served on the UGA College Republicans executive board as Outreach Director since January 2019 and is also involved in the Demosthenian Literary Society. Alex plans to get a Masters in Public Administration through the Double Dawgs program and use it to pursue a career in campaign or government work.
