Master of Public Administration (MPA)

Alex was born and raised in Snellville, Georgia. She graduated from the University of West Georgia in 2016 with a Bachelor of arts in Psychology. Currently, she is the Executive Assistant at Evermore Community Improvement District, but worked previously as a licensed Property and Casualty Insurance Agent. Alex is a 2019 graduate of the Georgia Academy for Economic Development, and the Gwinnett 101 Citizen’s Academy. She is an active member of Gwinnett Young Professionals through the Gwinnett Chamber, and the Emerging Leaders Initiative (ELI) through the Council for Quality Growth. In her free time, Alex enjoys hiking, cooking, going to concerts, and spending time with her dog.


BA | University of West Georgia | 2016 | Psychology

During Alex’s time at the University of West Georgia, she worked as a Teacher’s Assistant in the Chemistry Department, where she assisted students and clarified uncertainties during laboratory assignments. She took courses which focused on social and community development, which ignited her desire to pursue higher education in Public Administration. During the summer of 2016, she volunteered at an equine therapy farm, Waypoint Ranch, where she assisted young patients with animal therapy practices.

Executive Assistant of the Evermore Community Improvement District,which is the association of commercial property owners along highway 78. We work with local and state entities to enhance the overall economic opportunity of the commercial district.
