PhD student, Justin Bullock was recognized by faculty and staff Friday, April 11, 2014 at the Annual GSPA Banquet as PhD Student of the Year. Justin currently serves as the MPA Advisor and is a research assistant for Dr. J. Edward Kellough. His first article appeared in print this year in the International Public Management Journal and he recently had a paper accepted the Journal of Public Administration Research and Theory. He has papers under review at Administration & Society and Public Administration Review. Justin is also very active in presenting his work. In the past year he attended academic conferences for the European Group on Public Administration, Southern Political Science Association, Association for Public Policy and Management, and the Midwest Political Science Association. Justin has been completing his dissertation titled “A Theory and Empirical Examination of Bureaucratic Errors” under the direction of Dr. Laurence J. O’Toole. Starting in September 2014, Justin will be an Assistant Professor in the Bush School of Government and Public Service at Texas A&M University.
