Congratulations to our November/December MPA student of the Month – Allyson Terry!

Allyson Terry is a second-year MPA candidate with specializations in, and passions for, nonprofit and higher education. She currently works as a graduate research assistant, coordinating the Vinson Fellows and Georgia Legislative Internship Programs for the Carl Vinson Institute of Government. Allyson most recently spent her summer in Washington, D.C. as the Hearst Fellow for the Aspen Institute’s Program on Philanthropy and Social Innovation. There she worked closely on the Nonprofit Data Project to bring greater accountability to the nonprofit sector via legislation and education of the sector to the public. Prior to joining the UGA family, she was an admission counselor for her alma mater, Oglethorpe University in Atlanta. She is currently serving her program and community as president of Georgia Students for Public Administration and as a mentor with the College Factory in Athens.

Allyson is a native of Birmingham, Al who loves good food, traveling, and spending quality with loved ones.
