May 2021 Public Administration and Policy MPA Student of the Month: Mathilde Carpet

Congratulations to Mathilde Carpet for being selected as Public Administration and Policy’s MPA Student of the Month!

Mathilde will be graduating from the MPA later this month. During her time in the program, she has focused on policy analysis courses. Some of her favorite experiences were working with Dr. Abraham on the Athens Wellbeing Project and participating in the Carl Vinson Professional Development Program. Outside of class, Mathilde has gained extensive experience with the legislative process, interning with a State Representative and most recently with the Association of County Commissioners of Georgia. She also served on GSPA exec and is newly inducted to Pi Alpha Alpha. After graduation, she will be starting her career as a budget analyst for the State of Tennessee in Nashville.
