Public Administration and Policy is happy to announce Perrin Williams as January MPA Student of the Month!

Perrin is a second year student in the MPA program. She is the current graduate assistant for MPA Recruitment and Career Services, where she interacts with current students throughout their UGA MPA experience and with prospective students looking to make UGA their new home.

This past summer, Perrin interned at a local non-profit in Lawrenceville, Georgia called Defined With Purpose, where she learned the ins and outs of operating a grassroots organization. She created programs and provided mentorship for young girls who have experienced abuse.

Before starting her graduate career with us, Perrin studied Journalism, Sociology, and Political Science at Georgia State University. During this time, she got to act on her literary and creative passions by writing and photographing for the university’s newspaper, The Signal.

Perrin enjoys volunteering at her local food bank and homeless shelter, as well as hiking, reading, and being involved at her church.

Congratulations Perrin! Keep up the good work.
