Samara Scheckler


Graduate Teaching Assistant

Samara is a doctoral candidate in the department of public administration and policy at the University of Georgia. She conducts research on policies that impact long-term care and housing. She also studies the social determinants of health such as the effects of social capital, income and implicit bias. With a decade of experience in social work, Samara has a particular interest in community-based health care systems.
