Assistant Professor of Political Science
Roberto Carlos received his Ph.D. in Political Science from the University of Chicago. Before arriving at the University of Georgia, he was the Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Center for the Study of Ethnicity, Race, and Immigration at the University of Pennsylvania. He is a scholar of race, ethnicity, and politics, with research and teaching interest primarily focused on issues related to Latinx politics, immigration, representation, political behavior, and socialization. His work has been published in The Journal of Race, Ethnicity, and Politics and The Journal of Legislative Studies.
