Instructor
Dr. Lee Lukoff is currently an Instructor for UGA’s Washington Semester Program where he teaches a course on US Grand Strategy and mentors students pursuing internships in Washington, D.C. Dr. Lukoff has taught 30+ courses as an instructor of record on an array of topics such as US Grand Strategy, International Conflict, Global Issues, US-Israel Relations, the Israeli-Palestinian Conflict, Applied Politics, and American Public Policy. Dr. Lukoff has had his writings published in mediums such as the Journal of Intelligence History, American Intelligence Journal, Journal of European and American Intelligence Studies, The Encyclopedia of U.S. Intelligence, Journal of Cold War Studies, and the International Journal of Intelligence, Security, and Public Affairs.
Outside of his role in the Washington Semester Program, Dr. Lukoff is a Senior Curriculum Specialist at the State Department’s National Foreign Affairs Training Center where he oversees curriculum review efforts for the department’s Political, Area Studies, Public Diplomacy, and Economics courses. Dr. Lukoff is a native of Dartmouth, Massachusetts and enjoys visiting historical sites, watching college football, mentoring, and caring for his Bernese Mountain Dog George in his spare time.
