Dr. Jeffrey Milliman is a Limited-Term Lecturer in the Department of Political Science, where he teaches courses in American government and political methods. He is a 2026 graduate of the University of Georgia, where he earned his PhD in Political Science and International Affairs. He studies urban politics and police oversight and his coauthored work has been published in the Journal of National Security Intelligence and the Journal of Policing, Intelligence and Counter Terrorism.

Dr. Milliman was born in Colorado and moved to Georgia to study at UGA. Previously, he worked at the Pardee Center for International Futures on the Country and Organization Travel Team at the University of Denver and interned with the Department of Health and Human Services. In his free time he enjoys running and hiking.
