Baha’i Chair for World Peace Lecture

Is a World without War Possible? Fundamental Challenges to Global Peace & Security

Professor Hoda Mahmoudi, the Baha’i Chair for World Peace at the University of Maryland’s Center for International Development and Conflict Management, is visiting UGA April 9-14. She would like to give an open lecture to the UGA community to discuss what is required for us to collectively remake and restructure a more just society. At the global, national, and local levels we face immediate and long-term threats to peace and security. Professor Mahmoudi will discuss how we can think creatively to generate new solutions and restructure our approaches to current global challenges.
