Nonresident Fellow

Myunghee Lee is a Korea Foundation Postdoctoral Fellow at the Nordic Institute of Asian Studies in the Department of Political Science at the University of Copenhagen. She is also a visiting fellow at the University of Missouri and a non-resident fellow at the Center for International Trade and Security at the University of Georgia. Her research focuses on various non-traditional security issues including terrorism, transnational crimes including human/drug trafficking, and refugee issues. Her regional focus is, but not limited to, China and its neighboring countries. Her research appears at International Security and Politics and Gender. She earned her Ph.D. in Political Science at the University of Missouri. She is the recipient of the 2020 David M. Wood Excellence in Political Science Research Award.
