CITS held an “Industry Outreach and Engagement” workshop in Beijing on March 10-11 2015. It is the second workshop in a series designed to share best practices in the area of strategic trade control. Participants included officials from Chinese Ministry of Commerce, U.S. Department of Energy, U.S. Department of Commerce, Korea Strategic Trade Institute (Seoul, Korea) and Center for Information on Security Trade Control (Tokyo, Japan). They shared experiences in working with industries from both policy and compliance angles. This workshop was co-organized with China Academy of International Trade and Economic Cooperation (CAITEC).
