Master of International Policy (MIP)

Valeriia s a Master of International policy student (Fulbright scholarship) with research interests touching upon nonproliferation, nuclear deterrence theory, peaceful and military applications of nuclear energy, Ukrainian nuclear history. She has a Master`s Degree in International relations, worked as a JRF at Odessa Center for Nonproliferation, was the Head of Odessa Regional Department of Forum of Young Diplomats, interned at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine and Consulate General of Turkish Republic in Odessa.

  • The winner of the international non-proliferation essay contest in 2013 («Cuba Missile Crisis in the Context of Nuclear Deterrence Theory»), occupied the second place in 2014 («Nuclear Programs of India and Pakistan: «the Domino Effect» or the Transformation of Nuclear Non-proliferation Regime?»).
  • Won `The Best Student of Odessa National University` award in 2014, 2013 and 2011.
  • Won the KIMUN (all-Ukrainian Kiev International Model United Nations) Best delegate award, was honored to represent Ukraine at the partnering RomeMUN as a prize in 2014.

WMD nonproliferation, nuclear deterrence theory, peaceful and military applications of nuclear energy, Ukrainian nuclear history.
