Stephen Jaques

Master of Public Administration (MPA)

Stephen is a product of metro Atlanta, specifically Lawrenceville, GA. He graduated from Peachtree Ridge High in 2009 within the top 25 out of a class of 700. He won the team state title as a senior member of the Peachtree Ridge varsity cross country team. While there he further developed his fascination with history, geography, cultures, and politics; in effect international and public affairs.

He graduated, with honors, from the University of Georgia in 2013 with a degree in International Affairs and a minor in Spanish. While a student he was recognized with the monthly Most Outstanding Award at Snelling Dining Commons. He also was a member of the UGA chapter of International Justice Mission; an organization dedicated to the elimination of human trafficking.

After an invaluable excursion into the “real world” as a landscaper, he is excited to be a student once again at the University of Georgia and looks forward to making a difference in the world through the MPA program!
