More About

Sam is a Ph.D student in Political Science and is interested in political behavior, public opinion, and national security. He graduated from the University of Georgia once in 2015 with a B.A. in Political Science and again in 2017 with a M.A. in Political Science, so Sam is quite familiar with the University and the Athens area. In brief periods of time when he is not reading or writing, Sam enjoys playing video games, reading dystopian fiction, and walking his dog Hambone, who is a good boy. After graduation, Sam hopes to move to the Washington, D.C. area and conduct even more research.

Research Interests

Sam is interested in political behavior, public opinion, and national security. More narrowly, he is interested in how partisanship affects the way voters view the world.
