Research Interests

I am interested in the connection between community involvement, whether that is through volunteerism or philanthropy, and motivation alongside information. If people knew the needs of their community and how to assist in meeting them, would they be motivated to do so? I am also interested in researching motivation and participation when volunteers and philanthropists have personal connections to a cause as well how those connections were created.
