Kylie Shae Keyser

Master of Public Administration (MPA)

During my time as a student at Louisiana State University, I was involved in an extended orientation program for first year students called STRIPES. After serving in several different leadership positions within the program, I realized I had a passion for higher education. Most of my life I have been interested in politics and after I interned for Senator Jeff Sessions in Washington D.C. I decided that I want to work for the government.

In May 2016, I graduated from LSU with College Honors and two bachelor’s degrees. During my time in the Public Administration program, I hope to learn how to apply my degrees in both Economics and Political Communication to my future career. I am really looking forward to learning more about how to be an effective public servant.

Research Interests

I am interested in working with the Carl Vinson Institute of Government, and getting involved in their research projects. Because of my dual interest in higher education and public policy, I would like to learn more about the relationship between the government and higher education institutions.
